Awards Categories - Voting Now Open
The coveted CORGI Awards provide a selection of categories intended to identify and reward excellence within heating and plumbing. The categories for 2010 are as follows:
- Heating Manufacturer of the Year (sponsored by Sentinel)
- Green Manufacturer of the Year (sponsored by Adey)
- Plumbing Manufacturer of the Year (sponsored by Screwfix)
- Installers' Mate (sponsored by Remeha)
- Safety Initiative of the Year (Sponsored by Kinetics)
Open to all registered heating engineers, merchants and manufacturers within heating and plumbing whom are able to demonstrate implementation of an initiative which has had a significant impact upon safety in 2009/2010. Judges will be seeking to reward those whom can demonstrate clear objectives, methods of review and clear outputs since implementation. - Green Initiative of the Year (sponsored by PTS)
Open to all registered heating engineers, merchants and manufacturers within heating and plumbing whom are able to demonstrate implementation of an initiative which has had a significant impact upon the environment in 2009/2010. Judges will be seeking to reward those whom can demonstrate clear objectives, methods of review and clear outputs since implementation. - Training Initiative of the Year (sponsored by CORGI Insurance Services)
Open to all registered heating engineers, merchants and manufacturers within heating and plumbing whom are able to demonstrate implementation of an initiative which has had a significant impact upon training in 2009/2010. Judges will be seeking to reward those whom can demonstrate clear objectives, methods of review and clear outputs since implementation. - Apprentice of the Year (sponsored by BES)
Open to all apprentices within the heating and plumbing industry. Nominees should be able to demonstrate dedication to studies both academically and practically. - Green Installer of the Year (sponsored by Plumb Center & Parts Center)
Open to all heating and plumbing engineers. Nominees should demonstrate their commitment in taking measures to protect the environment where possible and true advocates of green technologies.
Installer Awards
Open to all registered heating and plumbing engineers.
Judges seek to reward those who are committed to excelling in customer service, satisfaction, promotion of gas safety and an exemplary work record.
- Installer of the Year: North of England (sponsored by Polypipe)
- Installer of the Year: South of England (sponsored by Ideal Heating)
- Installer of the Year: Central England (sponsored by Megaflow)
- Installer of the Year: Wales (sponsored by Spirotech)
- Installer of the Year: Scotland (sponsored by Shell Gas)
- Installer of the Year: Northern Ireland (sponsored by Electric Heating Company)
The winners of each of the regional installer awards will be entered into the final category to reveal:
- UK Installer of the Year 2010 (sponsored by Anton)
